Abstract

The genus Alocasia contains numerous species with arrow-shaped leaves that come in a wide array of sizes, colors, patterns, and variegation. Alocasia, or elephant’s ear, provides a tropical feel to the landscape and is well suited as an accent plant, border or edging, groundcover or mass planting, or as a container or houseplant.
